Job Purpose:

A versatile maintenance operative to provide planned and reactive assistance to H&T properties for general maintenance work and to carry out mini refits to stores.

To work mainly within Scotland and surrounding areas, although travel to other parts of the country maybe required with overnight stays.

The role is to be during normal working hours although out of hours call outs will be necessary from time to time.

The candidate will need to have a "can-do" attitude and be flexible with their approach to multi-site management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Carry out the following to H&T stores and Corporate offices
• General maintenance
• Joinery
• Basic plumbing
• Minor electrical works (relamping etc)
• Emergency response
• Larger Property projects such as refits, Setting up new stores
• Assistance to external contractors i.e. shutter contractors. Some out of hours work will be required.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 5 years experience within a Maintenance or Shop fitting role.
• Experience carrying out general maintenance to include changing locks, basic plumbing, re-lamping, tiling, laying carpets / flooring.
• Clean Driving licence. Basic IT skills. Basic understanding of H&S within the work place.
